Challenges:

  • Challenging innovation culture does not support an agile way of working to push any ideas to the market quickly

  • Communication across the business can be slow and it can take weeks if not months to get an agreement on any action

Approach:

  • Define the core user(s) and their needs related to the business scope of the service

  • Create a strategic framework for prioritising features

  • Feed user insights and UX recommendations to the design and dev team

  • Participate in feature and user story generation, prioritisation and backlog grooming

  • Create a user feedback loop to collect ongoing feedback, to contribute to feature iteration and product improvement

Outcome:

  • As our prototypes were validated and refined, we turned to the task of implementing our solutions

  • Working with the design and development team across the client’s different departments helped ensure that solution was delivered on time

  • By prioritising the most important features while designing with customer evidence in mind.
